Chi Center

Tony_smTony Galis

Tony’s journey into Chinese Medicine took off well over a decade ago.  In 2005 he decided to dedicate more time to his studies, entering a full time Master’s program at Five Branches University.  Since then, he has had the opportunity to study with some of the top instructors and practioners in the nation today.  Tony focuses his practice in Internal and Herbal medicine.

Tony began studying Qigong and Taiji in 1999, with an intensive focus on Yang style Taijiquan.  He teaches Taiji and Qigong here at the Chi Center, as well as at Five Branches.  Tony teaches and trains a complete traditional curriculum of Yang style Taiji, a rarity in this day and age.

A passionate medical clinician and martial arts practitioner, Tony really strives to remain grounded in the Principles that define the profound arts of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taijiquan, and Qigong.  Because: “If we remain grounded in the Principles, we cannot lose our way.” Tony feels that it is from this grounded place that he can best support his patients in their own healing process.Tony strives to integrate his art with everyday life.  He believes that these “esoteric” arts are only as profound as their applicability.

Tony is also a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist practicing at the Chi Center.  For more information about Tony’s medical practice, click here.

"SCIMCC is the real deal!  They are very serious about quality - the quality of their practioners and services, their new and modern facilities, and the personal touch.  It is all the little details - for example, the email reminders for appointments, or the readily available visiting cards for all their practioners, or that everyone knows my name - that is the first hint that this is not by chance, but rather by design.  SCIMCC is an authentic and first-class manifestation of its owners' healing vision!"

"I've been waiting for this. Finally there's a place to take all my favorite classes!"
